Privacy Policy
Your private board stays on your device. We do not run accounts, advertising or analytics, and we do not track you.
Who we are. Motivision Board is published by Ahmet Talha Türk (“we”, “us”). Questions about this policy: atalhaturk@icloud.com.
What stays on your device
- Your quotes, notes, annual intentions, links and photos are stored on your device. Widgets read the same data through an App Group on that device.
- Photos are copied into the app only when you choose them. The app does not read the rest of your photo library.
- Reminders are optional and are scheduled on your device. Your chosen time, tone and focus stay on your device.
- There is no sign-up or login, and your content is not uploaded for synchronization.
What leaves your device
Stock photo search. When you search for stock photos, your search terms are sent to our photo service and to Pixabay. Search previews load from Pixabay. When you pick a stock photo, it is downloaded through our service and saved on your device. We cache search results for a short time (about 24 hours) to reduce load on the provider. We do not link searches to a name, an account or a device identifier.
Abuse prevention. Our photo and sharing service stores short-lived hashed network keys to limit abuse. The hash cannot be turned back into an address, and the keys expire shortly after use. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes standard request data (such as IP address) to deliver the service.
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive your payment card details. The app uses verified App Store transactions to know whether Pro is active.
Public boards
Publishing a new public board is currently unavailable. If you published a board earlier, the cards you chose to share (text, links and resized photos) are stored on our service and anyone with the board’s link can view it until you close it. You can close it from Settings on the installation that published it, which makes the link stop working and removes the stored content. Copies already downloaded by others cannot be recalled. Public pages are not cached and ask search engines not to index them.
Each public board has a report link. A report stores the board identifier, the reason you select and the time of submission, for review by us. We do not collect your name or email for reports.
Backups and deletion
- A backup you export contains your content and photos. Keep exported backups somewhere you trust.
- You can erase local content in Settings. This does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
- Deleting the app removes its data from your device. To remove a previously published public board, close it in Settings before deleting the app, or contact us with the board link.
Third parties
Besides Apple (purchases, App Store, backups made by your device), the services involved are Pixabay (stock photos) and Cloudflare (hosting of our service). The app contains no advertising or analytics software, and we do not sell or share your data for advertising.
Children
Motivision Board has no accounts and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because your board lives on your device, you control it directly. For anything we may hold (for example a public board or a report), email us and we will help you access or delete it, as applicable under the law where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for material changes, explain them in the app or on this page.
